“Should.”
Defined as obligation, duty, or correctness.
I know the word “should” will never serve me, in any situation.
Yet, that toxic little six-letter word creeps in daily.
“I should spend more meaningful time with my sons.”
“I should be doing more strength training.”
“I should answer when my mom calls.”
“I should be further along in life by now.”
“I should stay on top of my laundry.”
I’d like to offer a new option.
“Want.”
Using “want” instead of “should” helps us create the desire within ourselves rather than create the judgement from outside of ourselves.
Try it out, let me know how it goes.
P.S. – If you’re a single mom and want to do more with less, I’m launching a new membership program that will give you exactly what you need.
And, it’s free to you for March and April.
