“I’ll do it later.”
You know how I feel when I say this?
Relief.
For the moment.
Because for the moment, I don’t have to do it. Whatever “it” is.
But then later comes.
And “it” is still there. And “it’s” piling up.
You know how I feel then?
Overwhelmed.
As much as I resist doing “it,” the fact is, I can either feel the negative emotion now (resistance to doing “it”) or I can feel it later (overwhelm).
I get to choose.
